Synopsis
An expedition is raised toward Clerres. Aboard, Fitz, the Fool, Lant, Per, Spark, and Lord Golden. The crossing passes through Bingtown, unexpected reunion with Althea Vestrit. And destiny falls into place — a destiny that neither of the two heroes really chose.
First volume of Robin Hobb's last novel in the Realm of the Elderlings.
