Synopsis

The narrative takes on the appearance of a political thriller: the sick duke of Chalced, his hunters launched on conquest, the Bingtown Traders caught between alliances and betrayals, and in the middle, the young Elderlings who learn to defend themselves. The tetralogy rises in intensity before its denouement.
